We are a statewide community of hundreds of young people and allies organizing to build power to win youth jobs and end youth criminalization. We believe in the power of young peo- ple to bring about the change our state and our country so desperately need. Young people are the future, and young people are fighting for a future that provides them with equal oppor- tunities to thrive. The time to act is now, and we are pressuring our officials to be on our side. If you believe that youth are the future then let us create a MA of opportunity this means: we want $14 Million for the state YouthWorks youth jobs program, Juvenile Justice Reform (Pas- sage of Expungement of juvenile misdemeanors bill), Full youth employment and end to youth homelessness.
The morning will begin with a rally portion at 10:30. This will include performances from local teens, speeches from elected officials, and our agenda.
We will then march through downtown and end at the State House where young people will meet with elected officials to advocate for expungement legislation and YouthWorks youth jobs funding.
